Happy Valentine's Day!

I had reservations that I made 2 months in advance for a local restaurant for tonight. The place was pretty and overlooked the lake. A winter storm came through during dinner which added to the view. The restaurant had the outdoor balcony closed for winter, but it was still nice. We were seated at a table with a window in the upstairs bar area.

All these micro blogs are crowding the home page. I need to move and sort by month and year. I still hope to redo the entire page when I have more time.

2025! Can you believe it? Where do the years go? Seems like just a few New Years back, I was welcoming in 2007, 2010, or 2016. Last year was fairly eventful, with both the good and the bad, but overall it was decent. I hope everyone had a great New Year's and I wish for a great 2025!

I don't know how I feel about the site layout and content. Looking at a few other sites on Neocities, I feel like I should do some restructuring. Obviously, most people on here are far more talented than myself and have made some beautiful sites, but I am still going to keep the basic/simple style. I'd probably end up abandoning the Frontpage template and start from scratch using just HTML/CSS. I need to brush up on it, having to relearn basic and complicated code is actually more fun than actually updating the site's content. This site is for my own personal amusement after all. :)

Took the day off for a 3-day weekend so that I may visit with family who are up here from out of town. However, the sewage line decided to back up and soak the basement (water from the shower and not black water thankfully!). I spent my entire morning trying to find a plumber who could come out today, After making a few calls, I found a guy who was actually doing a job near by and came to fix my issue, turned out to be a root in the line.

Cherokee is getting work done, installing a new fuel tank, drum brakes, and rear struts. Being down to one vehicle for the time being is frustrating (Sentra CVT went out in April and is still taking up space in my drive lol).

I have a lot to reflect on in regards to what I am thankful for. I often get caught up in the negatives that I forget what is positive in my life. I am thankful for my amazing Girlfriend, who's been with me for about two years. I have a wonderful and close family: My parents, grandparents, sisters, and plenty of nieces and nephews. My cats are all healthy and great company. I have a decent job that while it sometimes can be stressful, it pays well enough to keep my bills current and still leave me with a little extra. I can't complain too much (even though I still do) and that is what I am thankful for the most.

Happy Halloween!!!

I always put a bowl full of treats out, but I've only had a handful of trick or treaters over the past couple years. I don't expect any this year, but it's always good to participate. Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

Updated the site a bit. Changed the color theme and added a photo page for my vintage cameras. I have a lot to do for this site.

Nothing new. Updated some of my projects. I am debating on whether or not I want to use my old Sony Mavica digital camera to use for site photos to give it a more vintage edge. The PC I am using does have a floppy drive, would make things a bit simpler.

Today was rather eventful. We attended a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. We ran a bit late due to construction on the Toll road and then the lot we intended to park at was closed. Missed the first 30 minutes of the game. However, it was probably the shortest game I have ever been to. Spent a few hours in the city and made it a date night.

Finally got around to updating my site. I am not quite sure what my plan is for the site. Going to treat it as a personal blog for now. I am going to use Microsoft Front page for the nostalgia. I highly doubt anyone would find this page interesting, but this is really just for me.
