Day 24 brings...Christmas Eve...blog?

K and I had Christmas at my parents' tonight after work... Yes, I had to work Christmas Eve. I couldn't stay long because I also have to work on Christmas Day. It's mandatory, but its triple pay, so there's that. I'd obviously rather be home enjoying the holiday with my family, but our CEO insists we must stay open to meet production timelines. He'll be keeping us in mind, of course� while he enjoys his own holiday off with his family. I'm not bitter at all. Did I mention it is triple pay?

Overall I had a great holiday. I really enjoyed this advent, and now that I understand the concept better, I hope to be more prepared next year. I hope you enjoyed it too, and I hope you checked out the others. I hope you all have a great holiday and a great New Years. I will be at work that week as well. That one is also mandatory and triple pay. I imagine our CEO will enjoy the fireworks on our behalf, while he's off for the holiday. I am kidding, of course, I am not bitter. This is a time of celebration and I am grateful to have much to celebrate, I hope you do too!
